Stop. Look. Listen. Smell.

(SLLS) is a simple acronym to remember to take a second to breathe and raise your awareness of your surroundings. We train individuals to properly employ firearms in life-threatening situations, and when possible, to work as a team toward a common objective. Above any physical technique, it is most important to maintain a level head and situational awareness. Never work faster than the speed at which you can process information. The last thing you want to do in a home intrusion scenario is to rush in guns blazing before you've properly identified your target.
